If you’re still getting used to your dentures or are experiencing pain and discomfort with the, then it is best to stick to liquids and soft foods that don’t take much chewing. Here are some of the easiest foods to eat with dentures:

  • Yoghurt
  • Mashed potato
  • Soup
  • Smoothies
  • Jell-o
  • Fruit juices

One thing to note is that hot liquids can be a problem when you first have your dentures fitted as your mouth becomes less sensitive to heat, so try to avoid hot drinks to start with and make sure any soup you eat is left to cool slightly.
